This is me giving my speech during Literacy Action Week. I spoke about black soldiers during WW1 and WW11 during the Remembrance Day Celebration, and I also gave a great speech from my heart about literacy. The Cape Breton Post was there and my picture was in the paper on Friday.
There is no greater high than public speaking. It was my first time and there was over 100 people in attendance.
You were awesome! You overcame your fear of public speaking after speaking in front of a crowd that large. I told you that it would be a great feeling of satisfaction when you did it. You can do anything. God blessed you with intelligence, creativity, and imagination. You are using your gifts very well. I am very proud of you as I know your family and friends are as well.
